The Opportunity
As HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for the provision of timely advice and guidance on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety and the Environment with respect to Legislation, Company Policies and Client requirements.
You will provide visibility and interface of the HSE function, working in collaboration with other members of the team and the wider business to facilitate high performance delivery through successful implementation of processes and systems, in a sustainable manner.
You will also contribute to the development of the HSE Assurance Plan to deliver high risk audits across the area or division of responsibility; providing advice and recommendations of improvement.
The Person
Essential:
- Experience of dealing with HSE systems, processes and identifying training needs
- Can demonstrate knowledge in hazard assessment and risk reduction methods
- Good level of understanding and knowledge of HSE legislation and codes of practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach with strict adherence to deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate
- A minimum of 2 years in a health and safety related role
Desirable:
- Member of IoSH
- NEBOSH Health and Safety Diploma
- Environment Qualifications
