Responsibilities:

Set high expectations for all students and create an environment that encourages creativity, independent thinking, and personal expression.
Evaluate and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Work collaboratively with other members of the school's art department to ensure a cohesive and wellrounded curriculum.
Stay current with the latest developments in art education and incorporate them into your teaching practice.
Encourage and support student involvement in school and community art projects and exhibitions.

Requirements:

A degree in Art Education or a related field, with QTS or QTLS. (ART and Design PGCE) for example
At least 2 years of experience teaching art at secondary school level.
A strong understanding of the secondary school art curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
A passion for the arts and a commitment to inspiring students to develop their own artistic skills and interests.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
