Job Purpose

Markets Conduct Risk works with Markets and Securities Services (MSS) and functions including Compliance, Operational Risk and Internal Audit, to support identification, evaluation and management of conduct risks in MSS Trading and Sales businesses.

The ConductRisk Framework team is part of Markets Conduct Risk and maintains the framework used for identifying and assessing conducts risks and evaluating related controls, as well as performing risk assessments and executing conduct control testing across MSS.

Theprimary mission of the Conduct Risk Framework team is to facilitate senior management in identifying and measuring conduct risks, and evaluating and remediating related controls, thereby supporting responsible provision of financial services to clients andeffective risk management for the firm.

Key responsibilities:

This role is to support the implementation of enhancements to the conduct risk assessment framework across Markets

Key responsibilities of the role are:

Supporting a wide range of business stakeholders in implementing conduct risk assessment enhancements
Rapidly developing expertise in Citi's risk assessment framework and tools, to enable provision of training and support to business users
Working to the overall quarterly timetable, proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies to support the CRF Lead in effectively managing delivery
Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across Front Office, Independent Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk
Contributing to continuous improvement of conduct risk assessment processes.
Directly executing improvements in aspects of the conduct risk assessment framework; aspects of execution may be manually intensive
Supporting junior team members to deliver to the best of their ability

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Understanding of conduct risks and related controls, associated with investment banking trading and sales activities
Strong understanding of risk management practices, including inherent risk assessment, control evaluation and residual risk measurement
Ability to deliver rigor and excellent attention to detail in execution, both personally and through supervision of others
Involvement in the execution of complex projects to challenging timelines involving many stakeholders in different locations
Able to work from home for as long as government guidance is to do so, but then to be present at Citi offices as needed thereafter
Knowledge of industry wide regulatory actions and conduct risk remediation programmes preferred
Excellent (Advanced) skills in working with MS Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, other)
Structured, methodical thinker with an ability to lead and coach a small team.

Qualifications:

College/university education preferred, but appropriate industry experience & exceptional delivery track record is as important.
Audit or risk management qualification preferred
