We are currently looking for a generic rehabilitation assistant to join our well-established multidisciplinary team within Therapy and Rehabilitation Services at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in Central London.
We are looking for people with initiative, organisational abilities and a mature approach who can work under the supervision of the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team.
These posts are rotational covering the following areas; stroke, neuro-rehabilitation,, acute neurology and neuro-surgery.
Applicants should have a good general education. Previous experience in a healthcare or community care environment is essential.
Effective communication and a positive approach to the management of complex disability are essential.
Regular supervision and support for continued professional development is offered, and the opportunity to work on projects within your peer group.
