We are an SME (Small Medium Enterprise) that are key suppliers to some truly global customers.

We are constantly looking to continually improve our processes and conditions so we can be our customers supplier of choice over the coming years.

We can only achieve this with the support and input of our production team feeding into the site leadership team.

If you think this could be for you, a re-structuring of the existing team has led to the need for an additional member to support our increasing order book.

We machine mild steel components from plasma and flame cut profiles on a range of standard and multi-axis CNC milling and machining centres.

We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to fettle and dress these components ahead of machining and fabrication.

The role will predominantly involve:

Using handheld grinding equipment to clean and remove dross and burrs from Plasma and Flame cut components.
Using jibcranes to move work in and out of area
(crane experience is highly preferable).
Be physically fit.
Have a good eye for detail.
Be able to take instruction.
Have worked in a similar manufacturing environment.

Hours of work are:

07:00 am 16:30 pm Monday Thursday
07:00 am 11:00 am Friday (40 hours total).
Midmorning break (paid)
Lunch break 30 mins (unpaid)
Free tea & coffee.

Training will be provided where required.
