EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a leading engineering business located in Gloucester.

Renowned for their expertise in the production of specialist components through low volume manufacturing, they have established themselves as industry leaders.

Building on their exceptional track record of surpassing annual sales targets and achieving substantial growth, our client is seeking a skilled individual who will play a vital role in preparing and finishing SLA (Stereolithography) assemblies, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.


What does the role involve?

  • Assessing customer data files provided to determine their compatibility with the SLA (Stereolithography) build process
  • Rectifying customer files by creating a solid shell that is suitable for SLA builds
  • Aligning component files, generating support structures, and making required modifications
  • Configuring platform files for the build process
  • Transferring files to the SLA (Stereolithography) machine stations
  • Initiating and overseeing builds, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any issues
  • Evaluating and reporting on the anticipated duration of the build process

What experience do you need?

  • Experience with 3D CAD modelling and 3D Visualisation skills
  • Interest and understanding of SLA file handling and data fixing
  • Computer literacy with a good understanding of relevant software tools
  • Desirable Experience / Qualities:_
  • HNC or degree in a CAD or design field
  • Experience with Magics software
  • Experience with Solidworks or Pro-E
