Warehouse Operative


Scotch Whisky International Warehousing Limited (Glenrothes) are currently recruiting for General Warehouse Operatives to join our Maturation warehouses on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, friendly team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be working within our Warehousing facilities, which is a key part of our Company's mission to supply high quality warehouse services and bottling of spirits to a global network of customers


The main duties of the role are as follows:

  • Stowing and De-stowing of casks from modern racking and traditional dunnage warehouses
  • Regauging of casks
  • Reracking of casks.
  • Disgorging of casks for bottlings
  • Carrying out reductions for bottlings
  • Carrying out blending activities
  • Taking part in stock checks
  • Carrying out warehouse walkarounds to identify any potential issues with casks
  • Carrying out and record Quality checks
  • Carrying out hygiene of equipment to a high standard
  • Following all SOP's and instructions diligently
  • Adhering to Health and Safety policies and RA's
  • Driving Performance through continuous improvement
  • Any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager
