Position:
Pet Claims Handler

The role includes processing pet insurance claims primarily for veterinary treatment fees.

Checking invoices and medical records and making decisions in line with the policy terms & conditions.

What will you be doing?
Processing new and continuing claims and dealing with all correspondence

Answering all calls promptly in a polite and happy way

Helping customers, resolving queries where possible or escalating to the manager

Handling customer complaints and resolving where possible prior to escalation

Learning and understanding the Pinnacle Pet Insurance products

Promoting a positive image of Pinnacle Pet Group and client companies

Maintaining excellent service standards

Data entry

Spotting possible risks or mistakes and sharing them with your Line Manager

You should have:

Previous decision making experience

Previous customer service experience

Sound experience of working towards targets and service standards

Ability to work to deadlines

Ability to prioritise own workload

A flexible and positive attitude

Excellent telephone manner

The ability to communicate effectively

Proven letter writing skills

Excellent attention to detail
