TUTOR and ENGAGEMENT OFFICER


The TUTOR and ENGAGEMENT OFFICER will be home based but will need to travel to Llanelli a few times a week.

The role will also include the writing of Curriculum

You could also find yourself involved in specialist aspects of regional educational provision, communications, quality, and teaching, whilst actively promoting our crucial work - so every day will bring different challenges.


About you:

The Tutor and Engagement Officer will provide a supportive service to individuals in the wider community. The Tutor will work with individuals who are or have experienced domestic abuse.

The Tutor will deliver Agored Cymru accredited units and Qualifications to women 18+.

The courses will be delivered at Entry Level 1 and above and will include a range of varied qualifications and accredited modules.

We also have an online learning portal ' The Life you Want' which is available to all learners


The Role


Are you an excellent Tutor and Engagement Officer who has experience in delivering vocational courses? If so, this is the perfect position for you.

Are you interesting in Volunteering or have you experience of working with Volunteers.

Are you passionate about education and have an ability for engagement of learners to projects.

You will have an innovative approach to teaching and be able to deliver a high-quality learning experience to learners.


Working as part of a successful team, you will provide an inspirational and engaging teaching and learning as well as maintaining retention and high success rates across the programme.

The Tutor and Engagement Officer will support the engagement of learners on to the programme.

Contracted hours:35 hours per week might include evenings and weekend work. We are happy to consider job share and part-time hours.
