Due to its continued growth and exciting transformation, this forward-thinking FS organisation is looking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to work as part of a busy team.

Reporting into the Head of Mortgage Proposition and Distribution with responsibilityfor 1 direct report, the role is responsible for leading the strategic planning and delivery of marketing activity across B2C and B2B markets, with regular reporting into the Executive Board.

Supported by a Marketing Manager who is responsible for day-to-dayoperations, this role will focus on the high-level outputs required to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of the overall B2B and B2C marketing strategy, to include identification of customer segments, distribution/contact strategy and product alignment.
  • Acting as Brand Guardian, continuously reviewing, refreshing and developing the brand identity and tone, leading on projects for change.
  • Developing and monitoring of a suite of KPIs which demonstrate the importance of the function and its role in lead generation.
  • Ensuring that the team are upskilled to provide the necessary marketing support for mortgage intermediary sales and product distribution strategy including the retail savings growth strategy.
  • Managing the annual marketing budget, continuously reviewing the impact of marketing activity to maximize the impact of spend and evaluating the ROI.
  • Responsibility for overall compliance with financial promotions' regulatory requirements.
  • Management of key supplier relationships.

Person Profile

  • Experienced in leading and managing people with the ability to lead change.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically as well as enjoying the day to day 'doing'.
  • Experience of both B2B and B2C marketing within financial services or an equivalent regulatory environment is preferable.
  • Skilled influencer and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience of delivering reports and ensuring recommended actions.
  • Creative and innovative mind set.
  • Super organised with the ability to plan.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels.
