One of the world's leading Global Executive Search firms is looking for an experienced 2nd line support engineer to join their team as a Senior Service Desk Engineer supporting a full range of IT Infrastructure solutions.
The working pattern for this position is 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for triage, prioritisation and resolution of 1st and 2nd line support calls and when necessary, escalating issues to 3rd parties and the management team
- You will help mentor and support the more junior members of the team
- Occasional travel within the UK to regional offices will be required
Essential Skills and personal qualities
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policies, DFS and Exchange both onpremises and Cloud.
- A solid Understanding of network infrastructure and architecture TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, Switches and Firewalls.
- Previous experience using Zendesk, Service Now or other ITSM Tools
