MacKenzie King are delighted to be working with a Manufacturing business to recruit an Interim Head of Finance. Reporting directly into the Managing Director you will work with the leadership team to ensure the company's financial health.

You will work withthe department managers to help set budgets and provide ongoing reporting, challenge and feedback to ensure the business has full transparency and control.


Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the achievement of the company's objective by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
  • Oversee and control the company's annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met, and financial and statutory regulations complied with.
  • Management of financial systems and resources to include the assessment, identification and implementation of appropriate improvements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of insightful management information to include weekly reports, monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts, budgets and forecasts, relevant indicators of business performance (KPI's)
  • Ensure cash is available to meet operational and capital demand and manage a reliable short and long term forecast.
  • Support the Managing Director in all financial projects, such as capital investement plans.
  • The management, coaching and development of the finance team.
