Service Desk Analyst


I am excited to share that I am currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst for a fantastic client of mine who operates within Financial Services sector.


Core responsibilities:


  • To provide 1st & 2nd line IT support to the company's UK's user community
  • Respond and answer all service desk calls in a timely & respectable manner
  • Manage IT hardware procurement and stock levels of all IT hardware
  • Process IT invoices monthly, on time and within the due date.
  • Manage the UUK Service Desk (Jira)
  • Responsible for configuring & maintaining desktops, laptops, cisco desk phones & mobile devices.
  • Responsible for maintaining UUK documentation including user & setup guides, and IT asset records
  • Administer user profiles and accounts within Active Directory & Exchange
  • Support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment
  • Troubleshoot mail issues using exchange and Mimecast
  • Onboard new starters and leavers, following strict processes

Core qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience working within IT Support environment
  • MCSE or MCSA Qualified/ working towards certification
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 2016/
  • Outlook, Excel, Access, Word & PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using Active Directory, Azure AD and Microsoft InTune
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Networking experience (TCP/IP / switching / Cisco IOS)
  • Knowledge of Virtualization technologies, e.g., VMware
