Behaviour Mentor Wanted

Are you passionate about working with young people and helping them to overcome their challenges? Do you have experience working in a secondary school environment and a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques? If so, we want to hear from you

Our secondary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a skilled Behaviour Mentor to join our dedicated team.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who are experiencing behavioural challenges, providing them with one-to-one support and guidance to help them improve their behaviour and make progress in their academic studies.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting students on a onetoone basis to manage their behaviour and develop positive attitudes towards learning
  • Liaising with parents and teachers to develop individual behaviour plans and strategies
  • Providing advice and guidance to staff members on behaviour management techniques
  • Delivering workshops and training sessions on behaviour management to staff and students
  • Keeping accurate records of behaviour incidents and interventions

Requirements:


  • A degree in Education, Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working in a secondary school environment as a Behaviour Mentor or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
