Junior Broker (Italian Speaking)
City of London - Lloyd's Business
Salary £40,000 - £50,000

This company only broke in Europe (mostly Italian). They are a Lloyd's broker who focus mainly on Marine, Aviation and other specialty lines.

They are looking for someone with a 1-2 years experience minimum to join their team and must be Italian speakingtoo.


The main duties of the role include:

  • To manage the day-to-day running of their allocated tasks on open market risks or allocated facilities (binders and line slips).
  • Provide timely and accurate information to senior Management, Underwriters, Client Brokers and Loss Adjusters.
  • Working on the internal broker system as well as distributing the information on the collective markets systems.
  • Providing technical advice and aiding in the overall service provision to clients ensuring the business is retained and developed.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Start dealing with Binders, Facilities and line slips in order to get familiar with the placement and functionality of the tools as it will be an integral part of the broker role.
  • Learning how to identify the risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with a Broker.
  • Provide support to the Broker in the overall servicing of the Insurance program including issuing of the policy documentation.
  • Obtain quotations for new and renewal business, prepare market and client documentation and check policy documents for accuracy always in consultation with the Senior Broker.
