8.30am until 3:30pm, term time only

£80 - £95 per day

SANZA Teaching Agency are currently supporting a lovely Primary School based in Mitcham who are recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support a class of 30.

This would suit a graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant. They are seeking a strong, confident,and engaging graduate who is passionate about education. You will be taken on as a teaching assistant
- supporting pupils in the classroom, carefully guiding and helping them to make good progress in key areas. Being flexible and willing to take on all challengesis a must, as you will be supporting key stage 2 pupils in small groups, or on a one-to-one level. This is a strong and supportive school that is passionate about developing young teaching talent. You will be supported, guided and given a fantastic opportunityto work with pupils who are genuinely excited about learning and making excellent progress.

Main Duties

Be responsible for assisting with a group of children, ensuring their personal and development needs are met.
Adhere to all policies and procedures at all times
Work with the KS2 lead
The ability to interact with children to impact on their teaching and learning.
Attend INSET and Full staff meetings when required.
Undertake any other professional duties that may be reasonably assigned

Requirements:

GCSE English & Mathematics or equivalent at grade A-C
Experience working with young children and/or Aspiring Teacher
Excellent communication skills to deal with both colleagues and parents
A passion for supporting children in education, be energetic, enthusiastic and motivated
