Process Coordinator Mission:

We are looking for a Process Coordinator/ Injection Moulding Machine Setter (Plastics) who's mission is to take ownership for the day to day production activities and first line preventive maintenance carried out in the day to day running of the manufacturing department

Shift:
Monday to Friday 8 hours, rotating 6-2,2-10,10-6

Base salary with 10% shift premium on hours worked during 10pm-6am.


Reporting to the production Manager the Process Coordinator will be responsible for autonomous working and focus on the following tasks:

  • Troubleshooting injection moulding machines, moulds, peripherals to improve performance. Implement use of pareto data capture to identify issues
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Leading our quality packaging operatives to achieve production requirements
  • Maintaining quality standards and implementing corrective actions in cases of nonconformances
  • Daily production plans, performance / handover reporting to the Production Manager with specific and time bound information
  • Following lean manufacturing principles to ensure low scrap rates and waste
  • Training and developing colleagues using SOPs and other procedures
  • Preventative maintenance of production equipment
  • Maintaining production and maintenance records for moulds both in and out of production
  • Liaising with Maintenance, Logistics, Production and Quality on a daily basis
  • Identifying and implementing where necessary, improvements to process, quality or cost effectiveness of the moulding operation
  • Performing colour changes, colour sampling and material trials

Pay:
From £33,500.00 per year
