Permanent, Term-Time Only

Reception/Admin Assistant 15 hrs per week Thursday & Friday

Exams Officer 22 hrs per week Monday - Wednesday


Salary Scale:
Reception/Admin AAT Grade 3 pts - 6, Full-

Time Equivalent Salary:
£21,189 - £21,967 Pro Rata £7, £7,559.22 per annum

Exams Officer AAT Grade 5 pts 10-15 Full-

Time Equivalent Salary:
£23,619 -£25,878 Pro Rata £11, £13,060.76 per annum

Iford Academy is a specialist educational provision for secondary pupils who present with social, emotional and mental health needs.

We use creative and dynamic approaches to ensure the learning and progress of our young people, working closely within the wider context of learning support.

We are seeking to appoint a Reception/Admin Assistant (0.4FTE) and Exams Officer (0.6FTE).


Reception duties include, receiving visitors, high volume phone calls, recording attendance, co-ordinating school transport and school meals, general admin duties.


The Exams Officer will be responsible for the management, administration and organisation of all aspects of both mock and external examinations, and to manage a considerable range of examinations with a subsequent complex exam timetable for the Academy.


The post holder for Exams Officer will work closely with both Curriculum and Administration team members, across all of our sites, and offer support where necessary and the ability to be flexible when required, especially during exam seasons.
