Solicitor In-house Legal Counsel Hybrid - Local Government Salary: £300 to £350 per day

Working for a governing body in the North of England supporting DfT with the role out of the 10-year North of England programme.

This role would suit a solicitor that has worked in local government or is a solicitor in private practice that is looking tomove to an in-house role.

Location:

North West Hybrid Flexible working: 1-2 days in the Central Manchester office

Role Description:

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a governing body supporting the legal aspects of new projects being developed and awarded in the North of England.

Acting as an advisor between the Department for Transport and the local authorities / rail-basedstakeholders (TOC, Network Rail etc.)

You will be providing general support across a wide range of legal issues.

Delivering high-quality, timely legal advice, representation and documentation of a specialist or complex nature, fulfilling all statutory or regulatory requirements across all ofthe following disciplines:

Public and administrative law
Company law
Commercial law
Contract law
Procurement law
Data protection and freedom of information

Required Experience:

Registered practising solicitor.
Experience in providing general legal support either internally or in private practice
