The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is seeking to appoint a Research Support Officer to provide dedicated support for research grants management across the whole administrative lifecycle of an award, from checking of costings and due diligence reviews at Pre-Award stage through to supporting grant holders with the submission of financial reports to funding bodies.

Ideally, you will have previous experience of working within a busy research office environment, either in a University or Research Institute and of using an electronic resaerch management system, for example Worktribe.

You will also have an understanding of grants management, including knowledge of funder requirements, and the ability to ensure these requirements are understood by grant-holders.

You will be part of a Grants Management Team within the Research and Innovation Office (RIO), based in central London.

The role is office-based with the flexibility to work from home for a part of each week.
