Trainee Cake Decorator

We are looking to add a Trainee Cake Decorator to our
team.
Excellent opportunity to learn the craft of cake decorating as part of a skilled and professional team.

Have an excellent work ethic, being happy to get stuck in and assist with the tasks involved in the day to day running of our business.
Be flexible regarding finish times as we meet the changing business needs.
Have a passion for cake making, sugar craft and learning how to improve their skills.
Be a team player, happy to assist and learn from our experienced staff.
Be a confident driver ideally with use of your own car.

The role will include;:

Learning how to ice and decorate cakes and cupcakes to a high standard at speed.
Packaging up our celebration cakes for travel
Checking orders for additional items, candles/messages/toppers etc.
Keeping the front shop clean and tidy

- prepping for the follwing day's orders, creating sugar elements for our cakes.

Delivering and setting up our wedding cakes at wedding venues (with full training)

You must be available to work Saturday mornings

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

Salary:
From £10.00 per hour
