LHH are currently working with a leading local business to recruit for a FP&A Manager to join a forward thinking and progressive finance team.

Leading a team of Business Partners, you will take responsibility for providing high quality, insightful financialreporting for the actual performance of the business, including revenue, costs, capital and cashflow.


Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver the monthly Finance Report, including revenue, BAU costs and project costs
  • Lead the expense budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring all efficiencies and cost savings are built into forecasts and budgets
  • Provide expertise and insight into the production of the expense and forecasts
  • Deliver reports on actual performance, for Executive Committee and Board
  • Detailed monthly cost reports to budget holders, utilising all available technology
  • Monthly Capital and Cashflow report for the Capital & Treasury Committee
  • Drive continuous improvement; actively engage in development of underlying reports, processes and systems
  • Development of Cost and Revenue Driver and KPIs reporting to better understand, and control, the running of the business
  • Develop and maintain trend analysis to drive an increased understanding of potential future performance for both revenue and cost
Hybrid working - 1-2 days office per week

Salary - Up to £85,000 + Bonus + excellent pension

Key skills / experience

  • Qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience gained within a senior FP&A role
  • Ability to provide the stories behind the numbers and present this to the Board
  • Background in using technology to drive efficiencies, develop controls and improve processes.
  • Exposure to cost management, revenue reporting and capital reporting.
  • Proven team management skills are essential
  • Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders both in finance and other departments
