Head of Sales & Marketing About the company**: My client is a registered ISP who provides broadband and VOIP services to customers across the UK. They specialise in building networks and connecting domestic and business customers to full fibre networks.

Their mission is clear.

Firstly, we want to provide full fibre broadband so that customers can enhance their ability to work, learn and play online.

Secondly, regardless of where customers live or work, they deserve to have an ultra fast network.


The Role:

Your role will be lead a sales & marketing function with the explicit target of achieving minimum levels of benchmarked domestic & business sales across the portfolio of my clients sites.

The Sales & Marketing team will consist of telesales, marketing, communitysales management and canvassing functions. There are also specific systems which underpin the team which will need management, development and reporting.


You will be responsible for recruitment where required, shaping the team to achieve agreed targets and the continued motivation and success of a high performing team.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading and managing the sales & marketing teams
  • Produce specific strategy documents to align with current & future business objectives
  • Deliver an efficient and communicative structure
  • Shape & deliver an effective canvassing function across large UK geographical footprints
  • Manage our Community Sales Management team to achieve consistent outcomes
  • Manage the marketing team, including campaign approval, monitoring & performance reporting
  • Shape, recruit and manage effective Telesales teams in multiple locations around the UK
  • Ensure synchronicity & consistency across all S&M functions
  • Production & implementation of detailed job descriptions, role targets & behavioural requirements
  • Deliver robust regular people reviews and annual appraisals
  • Assess, develop and manage our IT platforms and tools used to effectively deliver the S&M function
  • Ensure brand consistency is delivered across all S&M functions & teams
  • Produce weekly, monthly and board reports to accurately depict performance against targets
  • Work closely with our Customer Services Team and build partners to maximise performance
  • Participate & perform as part of the Senior Management Team

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:


  • A track record of career sales, including demonstrated success
  • B2C sales experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Experience of managing canvassing functions & campaigns
  • Experience in the marketing function, and ideally managing/leading marketing campaigns
  • Experience of forming, shaping & managing effective Telesales teams
  • Thorough understanding & experience in using Salesforce
  • Ideally knowledge of the telecoms sector
  • Organised, assertive with excellent time keeping skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Selfmotivated, able to motivate others effectively
  • Results orientated attitude
  • Strategic planning skills
  • Experience in coaching and supporting team members to develop
