What will you be doing?
As an Accounts Assistant, you will assist the Management Accountant and Financial Controller in the production of the monthly management accounts, PFI contractual

reports and admin, purchase ordering system as well as support for budget preparation and statutory audits. This includes

  • Assisting in financial reporting
  • Processing of manual payments including the management and control of the community benefit fund
  • Process monthend accruals and other journals within the company's deadline
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with the control of the purchase ordering system ensuring all queries are dealt with and PO's are cleared in a timely manner
  • Providing support management and reporting of maintenance accounts, including management of service agreements
  • Manage and reconcile the Petty Cash Card
  • Monitor the businessaged debts and other KPIs
  • Assist in Budget Preparation
  • Assist in the detail required for Statutory audits

What are we looking for?

  • An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industryleading customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • A confident, proactive individual who has good attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator (verbal and written) and
  • Attention to detail
  • A team player
  • Interested in studying towards a finance qualification (AAT,CIMA,ACCA).
  • Minimum GCSE education with minimum grade 5 (equivalent to level C) or above in Mathematics.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Google Office Suite would be advantageous.
