Accounts Assistant - Temp with opportunity for perm if desired

About Our Client:

You will be working for an efficient, vibrant and organised team.


Duties Include:

  • Working closely with the management accountant
  • Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger
  • Uploading invoices onto the system
  • Communicating with suppliers and resolving any queries
  • Monitoring payments and ensuring they are made in within the time frame
  • Update and maintain records for outstanding payable
  • Reconciling statement of accounts
  • Monitoring credit rating
  • Setting up new suppliers and clients
  • Preparing and processing monthly invoices
  • Issuing invoices to clients and resolving any queries
  • Issuing statements
  • Update and maintain records for all incoming payments
  • Ensuring clients pay outstanding invoices within the time frame
  • Resolving discrepancies for both incoming and outgoing payments
  • Liaise with the collection team
  • Prepare ledger related reports
  • Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant:


  • Have previous experience within an accounts assistant position essential
  • Have previous experience using Xero accounting system desirable
  • Be driven and proactive essential
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team essential
  • Have high attention to detail essential
