Westwood Recruitment are looking for a
Lathes Machine Setter to join our client based in Buxton on a permanent basis.


Job summary

Machine setters, or setup workers, prepare the machines before production, perform test runs, and, if necessary, adjust and make minor repairs to the machinery before and during operation.


Main duties and essential responsibilities

  • Safely use all Equipment
  • Have experience with Fanuc and Siemens System
  • Maintenance Skills
  • Sett and Cut tools

Benefits

  • Salary £25,000 £30,000
  • 21 days holiday plus bank holiday (increase to 23 days with time served)

  • The role is a 62 / 210 shift rotating weekly

  • CNC setter: 2 years (preferred)
