Qualifications:


  • Childcare: 1 year+ (preferred)
- level 2 or 3 in Childcare / Early Years or QTS

At Sporty Scholars; we provide a fun and vibrant Breakfast and Afterschool for children aged 3 to 12 years old.

Our wraparound clubs provide opportunity for children to have fun and be themselves.


Job Description:


  • To lead the daytoday management and organisation of the Before and After School Club
  • Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
  • Work with all staff to provide care, play opportunities and activities, both indoors and outdoors, at every session, in a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, with regard to the individual development needs of the children
  • Administering first aid when necessary.
  • Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the club, with schools, and especially with parents.
  • Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
  • Liaise with the school with regard to the needs of the children who attend the club
  • Communicate with parents/carers in a positive, sensitive and constructive manner, encouraging parental support and involvement
  • Monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment.
  • Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures, and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday ( Term Time Only )
