An exciting opportunity has risen to join the compassionate Community Continence service within the Out of Hospital Service, covering the City of Coventry and surrounding areas.
Our service is based at Paybody Building near the city centre.You will be working alongside a highly skilled workforce including a Continence Clinical Nurse Specialist, fellow Continence Sisters, and other experienced Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants.
Are you looking for an opportunity to significantly improve the quality of life of our patient group, supporting them by specialist continence assessment, treatment and continence management? We are looking for an experienced Nurse who has a passion for caring for patient with bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Please note many Trust interviews take place through Microsoft Teams, this can be downloaded either through the App Store or Google Play for use on your phone/tablet.
The role involves supporting the Out of Hospital staff with education around bladder and bowels dysfunction aiming to improve quality of care delivered by the wide multi-disciplinary team.
As a valued team member your development will be supported through a robust induction programme, a value based appraisal, one to one meetings, regular in-service training and clinical and managerial supervision.
You will be work out of a multi professional base so there is opportunity for joint working and collaborative learning across a range of Health Professionals who are supporting and delivering high standards of clinical care.
Training opportunities are supported by our Clinical Nurse Specialist, Practice Based Facilitators and Talent for Care team and is actively encouraged by Team Leads.
Our team is part of the Out of hospital service which provides a 7 day service to the city of Coventry
Our working hours are usually Monday - Friday between the hours of on a flexible basis to meet the needs of the service.

JOB SUMMARY
To work within the Specialist Continence Team and be an integral part of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust Out of Hospital Service.
To work in collaboration with all 'Place based community nursing teams', the acute services, social services, and Allied Health professionals with an interest or involvement in Continence management, to ensure quality service delivery, using local and national guidelines.
To work within the Specialist Continence team, contributing to service delivery and the development of innovative practice. To be involved in identifying and disseminating new developments in continence care as appropriate. Effecting change within own sphere of practice as indicated, making recommendations for service improvement whilst influencing, motivating, supporting and enabling others in continence care
To perform advanced continence assessments for clients with bladder and/or bowel symptoms in a range of community and clinic settings.
