Altum consulting are pleased to be partnering with a FTSE listed Property organisation based in Central London.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this role is responsible for owning the accounting and month end close processes for the largest revenuegenerating sector of the Group Companies.

The role requires an analytical, qualified accountant with proven commercial and business awareness.


The organisation are constantly going through large acquisitions and the opportunity will have exposure to senior stakeholders, in conjunction with the FP&A team to assist with building insight and analysis over group performance reporting.


Main duties

  • Provide support in evaluating and modelling business expansion opportunities
  • Provide proactive, insightful, high quality decisionmaking support, ensuring businesswide implications are considered, that enables the business to make the best decisions with regard to investment decisions
  • Evaluate actual versus planned outcomes of key strategic and tactical decisions to support the delivery of the required ROI
  • Provide adhoc analytical support as required
  • Support the development of submissions for the Long-Range Plan, Budget & Forecast
  • Assist in the development of standard reports for the business
  • Ensure accurate and timely production and delivery of weekly trading packs, month end packs and all other reports that are required to be produced
  • Support the continual improvement of existing reporting standards in order to reduce production and delivery time of all reports
  • Supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation of the Technical Services consolidated results.

Knowledge & experience

  • Professional accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience of involvement in the preparation of consolidated accounts.
  • Experience of working within a complex division or company.
  • High knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and demonstrable experience of preparing statutory accounts.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word essential.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
