Overview

2fawcett are currently seeking an accomplished
Transport Planner, with direct experience in planning international and domestic (own fleet) FTL and LTL in an express freight environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Allocate own fleet resources to cover customer collections and deliveries efficiently.
  • The allocation of vehicles will consider driver hours and unit compatibility with customer requirements.
  • Communicate with drivers, provide instructions, and manage proof of delivery.
  • Respond promptly to customer quote requests.
  • Updating customers with collection/delivery ETAs, driver and vehicle details, and POD confirmation.

Requirements:


  • Minimum two years' experience in road freight transport planning.
  • Familiarity with Tachograph Regulations and driving hours.
  • Knowledge of Customs Protocols (UK/ROI and UK/EU Mainland).
  • Previous supervisory/team management experience is preferred.
