Education Services (ES), a division of Tribal, partners with governments and education institutions around the world who need help to deliver on their strategic ambitions to improve the quality and impact of education.


Our Education Services Team are looking for an established Head of Technical Operations professional to lead and be responsible for the Support and Operations function of the service.

The Role

We are looking for an individual who can bring strong knowledge and background leading successful operational teams and projects.

The role is responsible for identifying and prioritising appropriate improvements across all aspects of operations and support function in Education Services.


The individual will demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of Cloud Infrastructures and ideally experienced in projects of on premises to cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

You will have a good track record of leading teams and managing internal/external stakeholders and suppliers.

Some of the key areas of responsibilities include:
Experience of leadership and development of the operational support function, including strategy and its execution across the business
Ability to manage infrastructure risks, ensuring operational management meets customer requirements and remain fully complaint with relevant standards
Ability to work closely with service functions to estimate and plan product mobilisation
Experience of implementing change management processes and procedures
Experience of management and delivery of operation service requests, ensuring delivery and improvement procedures are in place
Strong knowledge of information security standards, risk management and compliance in relation to ensure all technical practises meet corporate requirements
Ability to promote and develop growth opportunities and plans for the Operation and Support team, including skills and knowledge development
