Job Title:

Customer Care Administrator


Main Purpose of Role:


The role of Customer Care Administrator will be supporting and driving the growth of sales through exceptional customer service, ensuring adherence to best practice.

The role exists to proactively manage sales and customer service utilising strong sales administration skills, customer relationship management and self-motivated commercial awareness.


Key duties include, but limited to:

  • Providing proactive and commercial account administration
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service skills with the ability to understand the needs of the customer
  • Maintaining an accurate database of customers for business development purposes
  • Working closely with the Customer Care team to understand the customer and drive sales through exceptional customer care
  • Communicating effectively and liaising with other departments to solve problems or answer customer queries
  • Maximising value from each customer interaction by taking opportunities to increase sales through up selling and following up on leads given/quotations raised
  • Administering of returns and process accurate refunds
  • Monitoring online payment details to reduce risk of fraudulent orders being processed
  • Monitoring of customer feedback and payment merchants including accuracy of online terms, case and resolution handling
  • Providing cover for colleagues within the wider Sales & Operations Team during absence or busy times

Education and Qualifications:


  • Good basic education including a minimum of GCSE passes at grade C or above in English Language and Maths.

Relevant Experience:


  • Proven experience within the B2B or B2C sector
  • Experience within a professional sales environment
  • Evidence of effective communication skills gained within a customer service
  • Strong MS Office and Excel skills
  • Proficiency with inhouse ERP systems
