Looking for an exciting role in Tax for the new year?

My client are currently on the market for a Tax Manager to join their growing internal tax function.

This is an opportunity to join a large retailer offering quick internal progression, flexible hybrid working and a generous pay package.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tax compliance process, liaising closely with advisors on the preparation and submission of returns
  • Reviewing computations from external advisors
  • Helping the senior team grow the inhouse function, ensuring that new members are supported thoroughly and that their professional goals are realised
  • Assist on all tax related matters, including employment tax and VAT
  • Provide input on a variety of ongoing financial projects.

Requirements:


  • ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified is preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax, especially within the UK
  • Some exposure to employment tax and VAT is preferred but not required
  • Good communication skills, ability to grow relationships across the business and externally

Package:

  • Competitive Salary up to £70,000
