Description
We are recruiting for a Trainee Credit Controller for a finance company based in IpswichThe company has been operating since 2019 and have recently relocated to Ipswich this year.
Due to growth we are now looking to add to the Credit Control team.
Job Role
- Allocating payments in Xero
- Updating contact details and debtor records in Xero
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when needed.
- Sending Copy invoices out to debtors
- Liaising with accounts department to raise credit notes or resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues affecting payment collection.
- Prepare and send out twice monthly statements to customers.
- Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable as needed.
Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Specifically Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounts or accounts receivable principles and practices desirable
- Experience in using Xero or similar accounting software advantageous.
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to structure workload independently.
- Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
Job Types:

Salary:
£18,249.12-£23,000.00 per year
