Hybrid working with office location in Birmingham, London and/or Manchester.
About you
As an experienced and politically astute Director of Engagement and Communications, your role will be critical in supporting the transformation of our client, shaping the narrative, and engaging with a wide range of audiences to help them fully understandthe organisation's purpose and impact.
You'll provide strategic counsel to their senior leaders on partners of influence, the prioritisation of stakeholders, the most appropriate vehicles for engagement, and maximising stakeholder involvement, ensuring overall continuityand consistency of their brand vision and its priorities.
In this role, you'll have strategic management, oversight and delivery of their operational activities in both internal and external communication, including social media, campaigns, drumbeat internal communication, events and exhibitionsYour key objectiveswill include:
scoping, building and developing a team that will enable delivery; assessing all existing tools and resources available including suppliers and project or centre resources; and developing communication processes that are flexible and agile butrobust and consistent.
As well as having a track record of building, developing, and leading an engagement and communication function, you'll be credible at senior level, with experience building effective and meaningful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across variousenvironments.
