HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver


The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 2, Cat C drivers on a Monday to Saturday business supporting a removals teams for our client in Newbury.


Rates of pay:

- £15.00 per hour

  • Guaranteed 10 hours per day

Hours of work:


  • 06:00 till finish
  • Monday to Saturday

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver:

  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle
  • Assisting the team to complete residential and commercial removals
  • Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
  • Interact with residents and customers on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Report any safety issues on standard reports.
  • Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.

Requirements of the Class 2 driver:

  • Able to carry loads up to and above 25kg
