£21,313.45 per annum; Pro-Rata.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday.
Contract:
MAT Cover - 12 months Fixed-Term; Term-Time Only, plus 5 days.
Aspire Behaviour Management is currently on the lookout for a School Office Administrator, to support the Directors with the running of the business.
Along with providing support to the Principal and SLT with day-to-day support of administration tasks associated with running the School.
Who we are looking for:
The school is based in Burnley, and provides education to Children and Young People have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
- 5 GCSE's Grade C or above, including Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification related to Administration _(not essential but is beneficial)_
- Experience of working in a school office or busy office _environment (not essential but is beneficial)_
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to respond and engage with children appropriately.
- A good level of IT competency and experience with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel etc.
- Ability to work flexibly and proactively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to build professional, effective working relationships.
- Work in a positive, solutionfocused manner.
The Role:
Our aim is to provide Children and Young People attending our Educational Facilities, with a calm and nurturing environment to allow them to be supported to reach their full potential.
Therefore, day to day duties will involve:
- General administration support.
- Reception duties answering and fielding calls, responding to queries, taking messages along with data.
- Assisting HR and Recruitment administration
- Monitoring supplies and purchasing resources.
- Attending weekly staff meetings
- Monitoring pupil's attendance, chasing absences and recording and reporting of these.
- Supporting SLT with generation of reports, and gathering information for pupil reviews
- Updating welcome display board.
- Monitoring budgets petty cash and classroom budgets
- Supporting with the maintenance of the website
