Description

A suitable PA for the client will be, quiet and calm in manner, patient and understanding, observant and attentive. He or she will be a warm, friendly personality and a good companion and playmate.

Duties
As Personal Assistant to the client, you will be filling in for parents while they are not at home.

Generally, the service will be delivered at home, but may, with agreement, cover outside activities in due course but this will take time.

It is intended to have a regular time and day of the week for the PA, but it is hoped there will be flexibility on both sides.

It is anticipated that the PA will be mostly needed to provide care and support during the evening, times to be agreed.

With suitable notice, the PA should be able to provide PA services for the client at home over a few days to cover for special family events away from home.

Duties are providing support as necessary including - making sure the client is safe, preparing and serving food and drink, personal hygiene including bathing, toilet and changing continence pads, dressing and undressing, administering medicine.
