The professional qualification team at Azets supports students through key accountancy qualification and exams of the ICAEW, AAT, ICAS, ATT, CIOT and other professional qualifications.
The role
As a Professional Qualification Advisor, you will work in our Professional Qualifications Team (PQT) within a region at Azets UK, dealing with the full day-to-day support of students providing advice and relevant administration of all professional qualifications including apprenticeships.
You will support the Professional Qualifications Manager on any projects to achieve the groups qualification and apprenticeship strategy, working with the regional HR teams to support our students to success.
Key accountabilities
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Deliver the requirements of the Azets UK Student Programme
- Provide day to day support to your regional students and student managers (including supporting struggling students), providing clear guidance and meeting key KPI's
- Taking a customer centric approach; build & maintain meaningful relationships with managers, students, and apprentices across the business. This includes proactively dealing with high volumes of queries and offering ongoing support.
- Monitor and report on trainee progress to key stakeholders providing early interventions to support exam success
- Regular communication with regions, holding support surgeries for students and managers utilising all data and insights from monthly updates
- Work with external training providers and institutes to ensure service levels are maintained to a high standard
- Student file reviews and progress reporting
- Supporting our student development by seeking additional learning, coaching, and mentoring opportunities when required
- Working closely with the region HR teams to resolve any issues that arise
Skills & experience
- Previous experience working in a further education environment would be advantageous but not essential, however you must have the ability to build knowledge quickly in this fastpaced environment
- Ability to make logical, reasoned decisions based on available information
- Experience working in a fastpaced team contributing to everyone's success
- Strong customer service experience and skills
- Strong proactive and cando attitude
- Good planning and organising skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Supplier management experience would be advantageous but not essential
