This role is working with a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe.

We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with professional craftspeople who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.


Our ambitious team in Brighton are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Advisor who prides themselves on delivering first-class service and who aspires to really make a difference.


In this exciting role, you will be responsible for contributing and exceeding customer expectations whilst supporting the achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling products.


A Sales Advisor is an essential role within the branch network; you will have the opportunity to experience a bit of everything from working in the branch.


This role has a strong focus on customer service, so it is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers both face to face and over the phone.


Hours of work:

This a part-time role working Tuesday and Thursday and every other Saturday morning 8-12. This would be a perfect role for someone who needs a bit of flexibility with set shifts each week


What will I be doing?

  • Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both facetoface and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions
  • Generating sales with new and existing customers
  • Use our inhouse systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
