Job Summary
This position is the responsible for the achievement of the targets established for their area, considering the EHS, Quality and AOP objectives from plant.
Schedule, direct and control the process of their area, complying with the productivity and performance requirements, ensuring the required quality standards, and efficiently managing human and material resources, complying with the Company's Policy, Missionand Vision
Key Responsibilities:
- Protect the integrity of each individual in their work areas, creating a culture of detection of unsafe acts and conditions.
- Delivers department(s) operations; by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products to meet schedule requirements
- Works closely with the materials, logistics and quality leaders to ensure the quality and delivery of the product.
- Ensure that the personnel in charge use the Personal Protective Equipment assigned to the operation.
- Correct and inform in a timely manner deficiency detected in the production process.
- Participate in the analysis and elaboration of action plans for the continuous improvement of KPI's.
- Ensure compliance with the KPI's assigned.
- Control the maintenance of order, hygiene and safety in the workplace based on the principles of the 5 S's.
- Ensure the followup of work procedures.
- Coordinate training for their team.
- Conduct informative meetings with the team.
Requirements:
years of experience in production, operations or shop floor area, with 1-2 years of experience in leadership position
- Knowledge in time and motion studies
- Ability to develop effective communication between work groups.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching qualities, troubleshooting skills, teamwork, influencing outside the department, safety and 5S.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office software
