The facilities at AURA are state-of-the-art and include four operating the
CT scanner, C-arm fluoroscopy unit, Cell-salvage unit, Interventional Radiology suite, mínimally-invasive surgical equi cystoscopy/endoscopy/bronchoscopy, 2 chemotherapy rooms plus hood room, ultrasonography, digital radiography house laboratory

This 12-month post will provide training in all aspects of medical oncology including experience of advanced surgical and interventional oncologic procedures.

Duties will involve daily collaboration with all clinical and non
- clinical teams and you will be required to assist with the daily care of both inpatients and chemotherapy outpatients, consultations, client communication, diagnostic procedures and treatments. You will share primary care responsibility of our medical oncology patients with another medical oncology intern. You will also be included in the out-of-hours rota. Active involvement with clinical research is encouraged, leading towards a peer-reviewed publication.

You must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

If you are not exempt from proving your English language proficiency, you must take an IELTS test (from the
British Council).

You will require an average overall score of at least 7.0 and a minimum of 6.5 in one of the listening, reading, writing and speaking components is required.

Off-site accommodation is available for the duration of the internship if required.
