_Ground-breaking not-for-profit (NFP) seeking an executive assistant with an entrepreneurial spirit._- This oneofakind NFP is in the process of growing a small team with the help of an_ _executive_ _assistant: one with a cando attitude, acute attention to detail and finetuned sense of discretion and professionalism._
Some of the tasks will be regular and predictable; others will be ad-hoc and require initiative and a creative approach.
As assistant to the Chair of a smaller organisation, flexibility and persistence are essential, and in return it offers a rewarding experience with considerable variety, continual learning, as well as opportunities for growth and assuming broader responsibilities over time.
This is afull-time, hybrid role for someone who can commute into central London once every 2-3 weeks.
Main Duties
- Acting as the point of contact for the Chair between team members, clients, and other external stakeholders
- Diary management including scheduling meetings and organising business travel
- Inbox management and correspondence
- Conducting thorough research projects across several domains
- Managing files, databases, bookkeeping and subscriptions
- Client and team meeting support and agenda preparation
- Managing marketing content, including for the website and social media accounts
- Preparation of presentations for various meetings
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience working as an Executive Assistant
- Highly professional level of verbal and written communication skills
- Methodical with excellent organisational skills
- Good people skills
- Selfmotivation
- Professional discretion
- Flexibility
- Highly IT/tech adept
- Minute attention to detail
- Outstanding time management
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle priorities
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Desirable:
- Experience working with institutional investors
- Experience in proofreading and editing
- Familiarity with legal contracts
- Start date for this position is ASAP. While this is _
a fulltime_ _role, the working hours are relatively flexible, as is the location, with face to face meetings required in central London every 23 weeks. The salary range for this role is £35,000 to £50,000, depending on experience._
Please note that, for the time being, this full-time, permanent role will be on a contractor, not an employee basis.
