Description

You will be responsible for migrating several key systems to a new strategic platform, effectively acting as a polyglot engineer, capable of understanding, internalising, and developing code to produce business outcomes from the first few days in the job.

You will have a track record of easily assimilated into a technical culture within days, and be able to deal with the pressure of software development in an intense, high expectation environment.

15+ years software engineering in the investment banking/hedge fund/asset management industry.
Expertise in Java, C#, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and technical environments.
Strong understanding of trading, risk management and/or portfolio management.
Degree educated (ideally Masters or above) from a top 5 national university in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

This is an initial six month contract, based London, £900-£1000/day PAYE (employers taxes paid in addition).
