Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support.
Each person we support has different support needs, so your support worker role may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.
ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities.

_You could be supporting people to take part in a wide range of activitieswhich may include swimming, gym, horse-riding, walking groups, gardening and art projects and learning home skills. Would you be good at seeking out new activities thatmay be of interest to the people we support?_
_Supporting the people to keep up existing friendships and encouraging socialising to broaden their community involvement._
_Due to the variety of activities, the people we support get 2 to 6 hours a day and you may be required to support 2- 3 people per day and the hours will run consecutively therefore will fit in with either full or part time posts._
