Our client, a well-established company based in the York Ring Road are currently looking for an Nights Operations Manager to join their established business.

We are looking for a Manager to support their operation and current Nightshift Managers at their York and Hull site.

Vehicle will be provided if you are required to travel to different sites.

Salary - £39-42,000 depending on experience.

Working Hours - Working 44 hours either Monday-Friday or Sunday to Thursday nights between the hours of 8pm-6am (Shifts either 8pm to 5am or 9pm to 6am). So, depending on your preference would you get Friday, Saturday night off or Saturday,Sunday.

Duties and Responsibilities

Organise and manage the night operation to ensure all products are prepared for delivery, loaded and issued to customers accurately and on time.
Day to day management and planning of the shift operation ensuring standards and targets are met.
Managing and motivating a team of Staff utilisation and rota planning
Ensure all staff has completed the necessary Health & Safety Training to carry out their role safely.
Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
Liaise with all other functions within the Business when required to ensure that you have the support when needed to ensure the night operation is successful.
Staff recruitment and retention.
Staff training.
Route planning.
