Day Rate:
Excellent Day Rate

IR35 Status:
Inside IR35

Contract Length:
Initial 6-months (expected to extend multiple times)

Hybrid Model (flexible):2 days per week in Central London, 3 days remote

About the Client and the Role:

My client, a well known and highly respected name in financial services seek a PostgreSQL Database Engineer to join the database team, with the goal of providing 24x7x365 support of PostgreSQL Server databases.

This support covers PostegreSQL administrationand supporting appropriate standards, resilience, monitoring, DR plans, backup & storage capabilities and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PostgreSQL database engineer duties as required
Provide 24x7x365 support and incident response.
Supporting production, preproduction and functional test environments.
Installation, upgrade & migration to latest software for PostgreSQL database
Support project implementations PostgreSQL environments
Database capacity planning, performance tuning, auditing and user database security controls.
Administration duties of PostgreSQL database.
Strong knowledge and experience of PostgreSQL database
Experience supporting a 24x7x365 database environment (PostgreSQL)
