Trek-Trailers Suffolk are East Anglia's leading supplier of commercial, equestrian and leisure trailers and vehicles.

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our expanding business at our premises based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

The role of the Yard Operative is ensuring the smooth and safe organising/tidying of the yard of a busy dealership.

Main Responsibilities:

Moving of vehicles & trailers in the yard, and generally keeping the yard organised & tidy.
Carrying minor repairs on light commercial vehicles, horseboxes & trailers.
Preparing vehicles for delivery

- internal & external cleaning of used vehicles.

Assisting with deliveries and collections

- this may include collecting vehicles from customers or getting vehicles for a MOT checks.

You will:

- have a clean full driver's license (up to 7.5 t, however Class 1 would be advantage)
- be a trustworthy and honest team player;
- be able to follow specific instructions;
- have an organised and focused approach to tasks;
- be capable of working on own initiative;
- have pleasant and confident manner with excellent communication skills;
- display attention to detail with ability to work to & maintain high standards;
- be adaptable and able to re-focus when workshop priorities change;
This is a permanent full-time position.

In return, we offer:

£12.50 per hour.

Standard working hours are 8:30-17:00Monday to Friday.
