This role sits in our Customer Analytics function within our well-established centralised Analytical department.

Our mission is to provide insight relative to Marketing, Customer Insights, Safer Gambling and establish a strong culture of data-driven decisionmaking in our organisation's strategy.


This role will give you the opportunity to grow both your technical and commercial skills by working on an extensive range of projects with different stakeholders.


As a Senior Marketing Analyst, you will provide insightful and actionable analyses to support recommendations on marketing and promotions decisions.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Supporting marketing performance team to measure ROI on marketing spend and optimise performance, measuring marketing efficiencies and supporting analysis on bonus management
  • Translates behavioural and transactional data into key insights and business deliverables
  • Interpret the suite of daily, weekly and monthly dashboards to identify key areas for deeper dive analysis, and proactively provide insight on underlying trends and drivers
  • Provide data driven answers to business questions on promotional effectiveness and marketing initiatives
  • Create weekly and monthly actionable summaries of key trends and drivers that go deeper than dashboard reports
  • Carry out deep dive analyses on our customers and their activity, and elicit key trends to communicate to marketers and product owners
  • Forming close working relationships with relevant stakeholders (Marketing and commercial teams) to provide proactive analysis and support business decisions

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable working experience in a similar analytics role
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or one of the following; Python, R, SAS
  • Knowledge of Data visualisation software, PowerBI preferable
  • Proven ability to analyse large sets and translate them into insights and actionable business recommendations
  • Great communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Passion for learning and keeping abreast of new technologies and data models
  • Graduate and/or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. STEM, Maths, Statistics, Physics but not exclusively) or equivalent experience
