We have an exciting locum opportunity for a Major Projects Assistant (Management) with UK experience to join our team.


Location:
Southampton


Pay rate (Assignment rate): £22.24 per hour


Contract Length:
Up to 6-Months


Duties:


  • Provide support to the managers and teams within the City Development and Economy Division in the management, design and delivery of a portfolio of important projects
  • Undertake research and the gathering of background information on behalf of the managers within the Division, including land ownership details
  • Maintain uptodate programmes for each major development project
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and to provide support at public meetings
  • Assist in the preparation of development briefs, steering group meetings and general administration duties
  • Coordinate documents for Cabinet, Portfolio Briefings, Cross-Party Steering Groups, development forums and design panel meetings
  • Assist with the supervision and management of the programme and resources for development projects from development concept through to facilitating construction on site
  • Take part in development feasibility, appraisal, implementation, monitoring and evaluation exercises
  • Assist in implementing controls needed for project and budgetary management
  • Work with other business units within the Division in pursuit of general renaissance and economic development goals

Requirements for the Major Projects Assistant role:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Previous UK experience working within a similar role
